Mobile App as a Service - ma ma mmaas ;-) , A software as service model

(SAAS)

Android / IOS/ Windows mobile phone users dont need to install and
upgrade their apps on their phones anymore because in future this model may surely comeup.

Servers are purchased or provisioned in public cloud by app service provider
The provider will install Android / IOS/ Windows apps for respective mobile phone users on these servers
Users create profiles in these servers in the public cloud and create single shortcut in their mobile phone
Once the shortcut is clicked on mobile phone, interface of all the selected apps opens which is in the public cloud.
Users always use the app online which is installed in the cloud and not on the phone locally

Advantages

1) NO need for mobile's cpu , memory and storage to be used by various apps.
2) Phone crashes - no worries, just reimage of phone and credentials to the MAaaS shud work
3) App upgrades are done centrally by the MAaaS vendor - user need not be
worried abt versions
4) No back ground applications using phone resources, usually applicaiton need to be stopped manually from settings of phone.
5) All apps in central location for any user, no need for backup
6) Most of the apps are used for online usage, so this concept may become popular online
7) Application cache clearing etc is not gng be an issue
8) Chances of phone crash etc because of application will be reduced, thereby reducing issues or bugs to developers.
9) Developers can develop the apps for single platform in the public cloud and the need for every old version of OS on different mobiles is reduced/may not be required
10) Because the apps are hosted in the cloud, the speed of application response will be high for the user.
11) The best part is a phone loss with banking and other financial apps will no more be a threat. In other words, transactions are always secure from cloud to bank's private cloud.
12) Mobile phones can be used for some additional purposes
13) End users with small budget phones also can enjoy multiple services
14) The AAS vendor can sell the usage statistics for analytics to other companies from a central location
15) End users need not download the apps, save their mobile data :-)

Challenges

1) users need ALWAYS connectivity to internet - always or whenever they want to use an app
2) standalone games cannot be considered for this service
